Can there be (or is there already: my knowledge of internet trans is thoroughly limited?) a place on the net for people exploring autogynephiliac sexuality:
a) that is positive, supportive and exploratory.
b) that is intelligent but not intimidatingly academic/theoretical.
c) that isn't predominantly pornographic.
d) where the sexuality isn't overshadowed by concerns about dysphoria, transitioning etc.
e) that doesn't focus on crossdressing.
f) that isn't inhabited by people wanting to be 'cured' of autogynephilia?
I don't know.
I think it is only the case that something like Crossdream Life actively exists because of dysphoric concerns and politics around it, which itself accounts for better or worse, the presence of intelligence and theorising.
ReplyDeleteOtherwise there doesn't seem to be a format for such a community. "Sissy Social" which will be returning soon. It's activity is centred postively around the articles and general media of it's users. Though ofcourse there is no interest in exploration, intelligence or anything else beyond the illusion of the fantasy. Plus I can't stand the crude "sissy" nonsense!
Hi wxh,
DeleteI don't know Sissy Central, but I don't like the term 'sissy'.
I am very grateful for Crossdream Life. I'm thoroughly sympathetic to the dysphoric, and understanding of those who hate being AGP, but the presence of these two groups did make a positive approach to the sexual per se something to be argued for (again and again), rather than assumed and built upon. xx
I think it's here.
ReplyDeleteThank you Stevie. That's a very nice thing to say. xx
ReplyDeleteUpdate: The site wxh refers to, Sissy Social, is now back up. It does largely fulfil my criteria, with the definite exception of c).
ReplyDeleteI take back my snootiness about the word 'sissy'. Sissy Debbie! Sissy Debbie! Sissy Debbie!
My linking to this post at Crossdream Life and reddit.com/r/crossdreaming didn't cause any kindred spirits to endorse the sentiments. Oh well.
I would say that Crossdream Life is still a good place for crossdreamers with my attitudes. There is a lot of freedom and diversity; you can pick and choose the threads to which you contribute. You won't be frequently badgered by people telling you that you are transsexual and that you need to transition. xx
I am grateful for crossdream life and .com. Until then I could not find a place with so much depth for exploration.
ReplyDeletebtw Deborah I just started reading your blogs, they are beautiful thoughts and images.
I am grateful to have found crossdream life and crossdreamers.com.
